Who are we?

Our Mission

Agriculture plays a vital role in Latin America’s economy, yet many rural communities struggle with outdated training programs and limited access to modern farming techniques. FARM2LA seeks to bridge this gap by equipping VET trainers with future-oriented educational methodologies and by aligning agricultural training with EU best practices. The project’s long-term vision is to create a self-sustaining network of agricultural educators and institutions that continuously innovate and adapt to the evolving needs of the sector. The project is designed to:

  • Develop a structured VET curriculum tailored to the needs of Latin American farmers.
  • Enhance digital and green skills among VET trainers and students.
  • Foster collaboration between EU and Latin American institutions, ensuring knowledge transfer and best practice sharing.
  • Promote sustainable agriculture through research-based education and digital tools.

By creating FarmLabs and a MOOC platform, FARM2LA provides accessible, high-quality educational resources that address the specific challenges of agricultural training in Latin America.

Our vision is to empower rural communities, ensuring farmers have access to modern educational resources that enable them to increase productivity, mitigate climate change, and improve food security in their regions.
