Project Activities
FARM2LA Activities
The project’s activities are designed to modernize agricultural VET by developing tailored educational content, conducting training sessions, and fostering hands-on learning experiences through FarmLabs. One of FARM2LA’s key initiatives is the FarmTheTrainer program, which enhances the technical, managerial, and digital skills of VET educators. Additionally, digital learning resources, including an online MOOC platform, ensure that knowledge is widely accessible to farmers and trainers across different regions.
- Research and Needs Analysis – Conducting comprehensive research to assess the current state of VET agricultural education in Latin America.
- Development of a Digital VET Curriculum – Creating modern, research-backed learning modules focused on sustainable farming, business management, and digital literacy.
- Implementation of FarmLabs – Setting up experiential learning environments where farmers and VET trainers can apply theoretical knowledge in real-life agricultural settings.
- Creation of an Online MOOC Platform – A digital hub providing open access to educational materials, interactive tools, and networking opportunities for VET professionals.
- Training and Capacity Building for VET Trainers – Delivering specialized training sessions to equip educators with advanced teaching methodologies and digital competencies.
- Dissemination and Sustainability Planning – Ensuring the long-term impact of the project through stakeholder engagement, policy recommendations, and broad knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Through these activities, FARM2LA aims to empower rural communities, enhance agricultural sustainability, and create future-ready farmers equipped to address the challenges of modern agriculture.
